Construction jobs are on the rise, right along with the demand for high quality construction fasteners and other tools. These projects need large teams of construction workers in order to be completed, which often means an increase in jobs.
The Record, a New Jersey newspaper, recently reported that despite an increase in home building in the state in the past year, construction hiring actually declined. However, that may all soon change. The Record spoke to Patrick O'Keefe, an economist with the consulting firm CohnReznick, who explained that his firm is expecting an increase in hiring in the construction industry in the area in the second half of the year, and he's surprised it hasn't happened already.
