Vermont is gearing up for a summer full of construction projects, and Vermont construction managers need to be sure that they have the best fasteners and other equipment they need to get the job done.
They should also make sure they have the best safety gear for their workers, since summer is not only a popular time for construction work in the green mountain state, it’s also prime tourist season. The Burlington Free Press reported that approximately 5.1 million visitors come to Vermont during the summer.
The newspaper published an article by Brent Curtis, the public outreach coordinator for the Vermont Agency of Transportation, who explained that there will be several construction projects happening on and around the roads where these tourists will be traveling.
Because of this, it’s important that construction workers in the state have the safety gear they need to keep themselves visible to motorists, like high visibility clothing from K L Jack and Company.
